abstract = {ABSTRACTThe Ngudi Rahayu Painted Umbrellas of Tanjung Village, Juwiring Subdistrict, Klaten Regency, are a traditional craft that possesses aesthetic value and represents local cultural identity. This study aims to describe the visual aesthetics of the Painted Umbrellas and their connection to culture-based tourism appeal. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, focusing on form, color, motifs, ornamentation, composition, and cultural value. The results show that the combination of flora, fauna, batik, and lurik motifs with diverse colors creates a distinctive visual character and reinforces local cultural identity. This aesthetic enhances the artistic value, tourist appeal, and image of Tanjung Village as the center of painted umbrellas in Klaten Regency. ABSTRAKPayung Lukis Ngudi Rahayu di Desa Tanjung, Kecamatan Juwiring, Kabupaten Klaten merupakan kerajinan tradisional yang memiliki nilai estetika dan merepresentasikan identitas budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan estetika visual Payung Lukis serta keterkaitannya dengan daya tarik pariwisata berbasis budaya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan fokus pada bentuk, warna, motif, ornamen, komposisi, dan nilai budaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpaduan motif flora, fauna, batik, dan lurik dengan warna yang beragam membentuk karakter visual yang khas dan memperkuat identitas budaya lokal. Estetika tersebut memperkuat nilai artistik, daya tarik wisata, dan citra Desa Tanjung sebagai sentra Payung Lukis di Kabupaten Klaten.},
