abstract = {The development of digital technology has increased smartphone usage among rural communities, including Pasir Muncang Village, Jayanti District. However, this increase has not been fully accompanied by a good understanding of digital security. This condition causes some community members to remain vulnerable to online fraud and the misuse of personal data. This community service activity aims to improve digital literacy through educational seminars on how to use smartphones safely and by introducing various types of digital fraud that commonly occur. The method used in this activity is an educational and participatory approach, carried out through seminars, interactive discussions, and direct assistance to the community. The results of the activity show an improvement in community understanding of the importance of protecting personal data, the ability to recognize signs of digital fraud, and the application of basic security settings on smartphones. This activity also has a positive impact by increasing community awareness and vigilance in using digital technology more wisely. Therefore, this program is expected to serve as a preventive effort to reduce the risk of digital fraud in rural communities. ABSTRAKPerkembangan teknologi digital membuat penggunaan smartphone semakin meningkat di kalangan masyarakat pedesaan, termasuk di Desa Pasir Muncang, Kecamatan Jayanti. Namun, peningkatan tersebut belum sepenuhnya dibarengi dengan pemahaman yang baik mengenai keamanan digital. Kondisi ini menyebabkan sebagian masyarakat masih rentan terhadap penipuan online dan penyalahgunaan data pribadi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital melalui seminar edukasi tentang cara menggunakan smartphone secara aman serta pengenalan berbagai jenis penipuan digital yang sering terjadi. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif, yaitu melalui seminar, diskusi interaktif, serta pendampingan langsung kepada masyarakat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga data pribadi, kemampuan mengenali ciri-ciri penipuan digital, serta penerapan pengaturan keamanan dasar pada smartphone. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan dampak positif berupa meningkatnya kesadaran dan kewaspadaan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara lebih bijak.
