    	abstract = {This research aims to analyze the influence of employee work ability and the work environment on the effectiveness of healthcare services at the UPTD Puskesmas Karangnunggal, Tasikmalaya Regency. The primary challenges underlying this study include low interpretation of clinical protocols, interpersonal communication barriers, and inadequate information technology infrastructure. The research employs a quantitative method, involving community health center (Puskesmas) employees as respondents. Data were collected to measure the contribution of variables, both partially and simultaneously, toward achieving service effectiveness within the institution. The results indicate that employee work ability is categorized as \"fairly good,\" particularly regarding the understanding of work instructions, although technical dexterity still requires improvement. The work environment also contributes positively through accommodative leadership, despite weak internal collaboration. Statistical analysis demonstrates a very strong relationship between work ability and the work environment. Overall, both factors exert a substantial and significant influence on the effectiveness of healthcare services. In conclusion, enhancing service effectiveness requires the integration of employee capacity development and comprehensive organizational climate improvements to achieve excellent healthcare services. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan kerja pegawai dan lingkungan kerja terhadap efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan di UPTD Puskesmas Karangnunggal, Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Tantangan utama yang melatarbelakangi kajian ini meliputi rendahnya kemampuan interpretasi protokol klinis, hambatan komunikasi antarpribadi, serta infrastruktur teknologi informasi yang belum memadai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan melibatkan pegawai puskesmas sebagai responden. Data dikumpulkan untuk mengukur kontribusi variabel secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap pencapaian efektivitas pelayanan di institusi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan kerja pegawai berada pada kategori cukup baik, terutama pada pemahaman instruksi kerja, meski ketangkasan teknis masih perlu ditingkatkan. Lingkungan kerja turut memberikan kontribusi positif melalui kepemimpinan yang akomodatif, meskipun kolaborasi internal masih lemah. Analisis statistik membuktikan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat antara kemampuan kerja dan lingkungan kerja. Secara keseluruhan, kedua faktor tersebut memberikan pengaruh yang sangat besar dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pelayanan kesehatan. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan efektivitas layanan memerlukan integrasi antara pengembangan kapasitas pegawai dan perbaikan iklim organisasi secara menyeluruh demi mewujudkan pelayanan kesehatan prima.},
