PENGARUH PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP WORK-LIFE BALANCE PADA GURU SMA DI TORAJA
Abstract
The low level of work-life balance among teachers in regions with high professional, geographical, and cultural demands requires serious attention. This study aimed to examine the influence of psychological well-being and social support on work-life balance among senior high school teachers in North Toraja Regency. A quantitative survey approach was employed involving 301 teachers selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that psychological well-being and social support, both partially and simultaneously, had a positive and significant effect on teachers’ work-life balance. Social support was found to be a more dominant predictor than psychological well-being. These findings indicate that strengthening psychological well-being and developing adequate social support systems are essential to improving teachers’ work-life balance, particularly within the context of multidimensional demands in North Toraja.
