Peer Review Process
COGNITIA: Interdisciplinary Journal of Mind, Education, and Science applies a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, integrity, and academic rigor of all published articles.
All submitted manuscripts are first evaluated by the editorial team for relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, adherence to submission guidelines, and basic scholarly standards. Manuscripts that pass this initial screening are reviewed by two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the manuscript’s subject area. When necessary, a third reviewer may be appointed.
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, relevance, theoretical and methodological soundness, clarity of analysis, academic writing quality, and ethical standards.
The peer review process typically takes 4–6 weeks, and the overall editorial decision is generally completed within 8–10 weeks. Final decisions are made by the editor based on reviewers’ recommendations.
