abstract = {The transformation of Islamic economics in Indonesia faces various crucial challenges, especially related to low public literacy, limited product innovation, and insufficient regulations in supporting the digital era. This study aims to analyze the factors inhibiting the transformation of Islamic economics and formulate an acceleration strategy based on innovation and regulation in the digital era. The research method used is a qualitative approach through literature studies, regulatory analysis, and semi-structured interviews with Islamic economic experts and regulators. The results show that low Islamic financial literacy leads to slow product adoption, while the lack of innovation makes Islamic services less competitive than conventional finance. In addition, regulations that are not yet adaptive to digital developments slow down the integration of technology in Islamic finance products. This research recommends community-based literacy programs, innovation incentives for Islamic financial institutions, and regulatory updates based on maqashid sharia principles that are friendly to digital innovation. The implications of this research are expected to encourage the growth of the national Islamic economy in an inclusive and sustainable manner.ABSTRAKTransformasi ekonomi syariah di Indonesia menghadapi berbagai tantangan krusial, terutama terkait rendahnya literasi masyarakat, keterbatasan inovasi produk, dan ketidakcukupan regulasi dalam mendukung era digital.
