    	abstract = {This research was conducted to find out the principles applied by MSMEs and the implementation of the value of the 12 basic principles of UPI YPTK Padang, at the Bougenville Shop. The object of this research is UMKM Bougenville Store which is located in Lubuk Basung, Agam Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative because it provides a description of the research results in a descriptive manner, accurate images and facts from observations in the field. Which then draws conclusions from the analyzed data. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Bougenville Shop UMKM has a different principle from other UMKM, namely “Humanizing Humans” and the Bougenville Shop UMKM has implemented the value of the 12 basic principles of UPI YPTK appropriately. With the existence of the UMKM principle and the implementation of the value of the 12 basic principles of UPI YPTK, the Bougenville shop UMKM has a good personality and character so that it can be an example for other MSMEs.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui prinsip yang diterapkan UMKM serta implementasi nilai 12 prinsip dasar UPI YPTK Padang, pada Toko Bougenville. Objek penelitian ini UMKM Toko Bougenville yang beralamat di Lubuk Basung, Kab. Agam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif karena memberikan uraian pada hasil penelitian secara deskriptif, gambar dan fakta yang akurat dari hasil pengamatan di lapangan. Yang kemudian ditarik kesimpulan dari data yang di analisis tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapati bahwa UMKM Toko Bougenville memiliki prinsip yang berbeda dengan UMKM yang lain yaitu “Memanusiakan Manusia” dan UMKM Toko Bougenville sudah melakukan implementasi nilai 12 prinsip dasar UPI YPTK dengan tepat. Dengan adanya prinsip UMKM tersebut dan implementasi nilai 12 prinsip dasar UPI YPTK, maka UMKM toko Bougenville memiliki kepribadian dan karakter yang baik sehingga bisa menjadi contoh untuk UMKM yang lain.},
