STUDI ANALISIS KRITERIA KEBENARAN DALAM PENUGASAN KARYA ILMIAH PAI PERSPEKTIF FILSAFAT ILMU DAN KEISLAMAN
Abstract
The dichotomy and gap in assessing the truth of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) scientific works has become the latest issue in the academic world. Modern academic standards demand empirical, logical, and pragmatic truth based on the perspective of the philosophy of science. On the other hand, PAI itself relies on revelatory truth and Islamic values that are normative and transcendental. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research. The data analysis techniques applied are qualitative content analysis and hermeneutic analysis. The results of the study show that: 1). The philosophical basis of the nature of scientific truth and its relevance to PAI scientific works is that the theories of truth in the philosophy of science (correspondence, coherence, and pragmatism) are insufficient if applied separately in PAI scientific works. These three theories need to be integrated holistically in order to capture the complexity of religious education, which is not only empirical but also contains transcendental values. 2). The paradigm of truth in Islamic epistemology and its implications for PAI research methodology is that Islamic epistemology offers an integrative paradigm that combines naql (revelation), 'aql (reason), and empirical reality. Revelation serves as the foundation of values and normative guidance, while reason is a tool for critical analysis. 3). Critical synthesis: formulating an integrative framework of scientific-Islamic truth as a standard for assigning PAI scientific works is that based on the synthesis of the two perspectives above, this study successfully formulated an Integrative Framework of Scientific-Islamic Truth with four operational criteria. First, conformity with Islamic values (Islamicity). Second, methodological rigor (academic rigor). Third, contextuality and social relevance. Fourth, honesty and intellectual ethics. The implementation of the research results in the form of PAI scientific work assessment standards integrates scientific truth with revelatory truth into a single, comprehensive framework.
