Optimalisasi Penyuluhan Pendidikan Seksual Sejak Dini di Komunitas Limbah Pustaka Purbalingga sebagai Strategi Efektif Menekan Angka Kekerasan Seksual di Indonesia
Abstract
In 2023, Indonesia experienced a significant increase in cases of violence against children compared to the previous year. Based on data from the Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children (Simfoni PPA), the number of sexual violence against children increased from 11,016 cases in 2022 to 15,120 cases in 2023. This program aims to increase the understanding of children and parents regarding sexual education as a preventive measure to reduce the rate of sexual violence. This activity was carried out at Limbah Pustaka, Purbalingga, with socialization methods, children's storybook-based education, and the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The implementation of the method involves socialization to parents and educational storytelling to children, equipped with the practice of using AR media to visualize body anatomy. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in participants' understanding by 100% after counseling compared to before the activity. Storybook and AR media have proven to be effective in delivering interactive and child-friendly sexual education.
ABSTRAK
Pada tahun 2023, Indonesia mengalami peningkatan signifikan dalam kasus kekerasan terhadap anak dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya. Berdasarkan data Sistem Informasi Online Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (Simfoni PPA), angka kekerasan seksual terhadap anak meningkat dari 11.016 kasus pada 2022 menjadi 15.120 kasus pada 2023. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak dan orang tua terkait pendidikan seksual sebagai langkah preventif menekan angka kekerasan seksual. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Limbah Pustaka, Purbalingga, dengan metode sosialisasi, edukasi berbasis buku cerita anak, serta penggunaan teknologi Augmented Reality (AR). Pelaksanaan metode melibatkan sosialisasi kepada orang tua dan storytelling edukatif kepada anak-anak, dilengkapi praktik penggunaan media AR untuk memvisualisasikan anatomi tubuh. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 100% setelah penyuluhan dibandingkan sebelum kegiatan. Media buku cerita dan AR terbukti efektif dalam menyampaikan pendidikan seksual yang interaktif dan ramah anak.
